Text Box: CAIN CIRCLE AWARD

The CAIN Circle Award, presented at CAIN's annual meeting, recognizes those not officially connected with CAIN who have collaborated with CAIN in an extraordinary way.

CAIN is blessed with much support from many parts of our community.

The Circle Award is named after our logo which symbolizes our interconnectedness - a circle of faith, hope and love.

My name is Michelle Markert. My husband and I have lived in Northside for the past six years and have grown to love our neighborhood more with every year. We have enjoyed parades, yard sales and carriage tours and the most fun, most supportive neighbors in the city!  We chose Northside because it is diverse and artsy, but stay because we love our neighbors and find that it is a great place to raise our two children.

I am very excited to serve as the Coordinator of Volunteers and In-Kind Donations. I have spent the past eight great years at the Art Academy as Director of Community Education. I am thrilled to now be able to work in walking distance from my home for an organization that has such a powerful and positive effect in my own neighborhood. I look forward to getting to know my neighbors as we work together to make Northside even stronger.
